ACT Prep
ACT Prep Course & Tutoring
The ACT is an achievement test designed to evaluate your readiness for college.  It is one of several tools universities and colleges use to make admission decisions. The ACT consist of four multiple choice tests; English, Mathematics, Reading, Science and an optional Writing Test.  The ACT is offered many times each year, and a large percentage of students in their junior year of high school take the test in the spring of their junior year. 
 
Because all students are different, ESGE offers two different test prep options for the ACT;      ACT Group Mini-course and/or Private ACT tutoring. 
 
2012 Spring ACT is offered on April 14, 2012

ACT Prep Mini-course 

 
This small group meets for nine sessions starting in January and leading up to the April 2012 test.  This course is designed to provide students with strategies on how to conquer the English/reading/writing/science reasoning and math sections of the ACT. 
 
 FREE ACT PREP BOOK INCLUDED!
 
 
Cost:  $425.00 for 9 (2 hour) sessions including practice test and prep book
$400.00 before 11/1/11   
 
2012 Dates:   January 22 &29
                    February 5,12,19, & 26
                    March 4,11 & 18
Class meets on Sundays from 4-6:00

 ACT Private Tutoring

 

ESGE offers private tutoring for ACT English/writing/reading/math and science reasoning preparation.  This option is perfect for the student who is mainly concerned about one academic section of the ACT, or who works best with one-to-one teaching.  Private tutoring sessions offer:

  •  60 minute one-to-one sessions;
  • pace and focus tailored to meet individual student needs and learning style;
  • no contracts; and
  • flexible scheduling.

 

Cost: $70.00 an hour

Dates: Scheduled on an individual basis
